Ehsan Mousavi is the Endowed Associate Professor and
Graduate Program Director at the Nieri Department of Construction, Development
and Planning, College of Architecture, Art and Construction, Clemson University.
He is also a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and
Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the American Society of Healthcare
Engineers (ASHE). He earned his Ph.D. in Construction Engineering and
Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The main goal of his
research is to appraise the effect of environmental parameters on the design,
construction, operation, and maintenance (DCOM) of healthcare premises. In
particular, questions are addressed as to how patient safety and the quality of
care can be improved through the DCOM phases.
