Ashutosh Singh is a Research Engineer at the CNRS-IRL 2958 Laboratory, University of Lorraine. He is currently completing his PhD studies in Materials Science at the University of Lorraine, focusing on modeling microstructure development in laser powder bed fusion processes. He has been awarded the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship and the Invest Your Talent in Italy Grant.
He recently led the development of dual- and quad-laser LPBF machines and the optimization of laser-based processing for materials, such as pure copper and aluminum alloys, at Prima Additive, Italy.
His teaching disciplines include additive manufacturing, laser-based materials processing, and mechanical engineering design, and his interests include advanced manufacturing technologies, microstructure modeling, and sustainable materials engineering.
