Xinghua Zhang is a Professor at the School of Energy and
Environment, Southeast University. Prior to this, he served as a Research
Fellow at the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of
Sciences (CAS). He received his Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Hunan Normal
University in 2003, his Master’s in Thermal Engineering from Guangzhou
Institute of Energy Conversion, CAS in 2006, and his Ph.D. in Thermal
Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013. His
main research areas include Development of sustainable jet fuel and
high-performance special jet fuel technology, resource utilization of biomass,
and preparation of degradable plastics.
