Amalya L. Oliver is professor emerita of Organizational Sociology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is currently a member of the editorial board of Organization Studies and the Journal of Professions and Organizations. Her main research interests include innovation and entrepreneurship in the context of spaces, ethnicity, gender and the periphery, interorganizational collaborations and networks, university–industry technology transfer, ethics, values and organizational misconduct and platforms for innovation. Her work has been published in journals such as Organization Studies, Organization Science, Research Policy, and Journal of Technology Transfer. Recently she edited a special issue of Research in the Sociology of Organizations (with professors Sydow and Cohendet) on Spaces for Creativity and Innovation Within and Across Organizational Boundaries (2025).
Rotem Rittblat is a postdoctoral fellow at the Federmann School of Public Policy and Governance at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is an organizational sociologist with interdisciplinary interests in organization theory—particularly innovation studies—as well as healthcare research and sustainability. Her research focuses on organizational and extra-organizational processes related to innovation management and entrepreneurship across diverse sectors. Methodologically, she utilizes qualitative approaches, including ethnography and comparative case studies, addressing multiple levels of analysis (individual, organizational, and field). Her scholarly work has been published in peer-reviewed venues such as Research in the Sociology of Organizations and Sustainability.
Jonathan Menuhin has been the Israel Innovation Institute's (III) CEO since 2017. The III promotes Israeli ecosystems in four sectors: Smart mobility, advanced agriculture, climate-tech, and aquaculture. In the past, it has also coordinated the Israeli ecosystem in digital health, DeserTech, and education. The institute serves about 25% of Israeli startups. Internationally, the III collaborates with dozens of multinational corporations and international organizations, including IEDB, EIT, GGW, and UNCCD, in the development of innovation ecosystems and open innovation projects. Jonathan previously led the largest Israeli ESG consultancy, served as a faculty member at the Hebrew University's business school, and worked as a consultant, primarily on EBRD and World Bank projects. Jonathan holds a Ph.D. from Warwick Business School (UK) and a BA and MA (Cum Laude) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
