Prof. Dr. Zheng Yang currently works as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Human Settlements and Civil Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University. He received a Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in building structure engineering, a Master's Degree of Engineering in structural engineering from Shanghai Tongji University, and a Doctorate of engineering in solid mechanics from Xi'an Jiaotong University. He worked as a distinguished research professor at the College of Engineering, Inha University, Korea, for two years. His research fields are as follows: the mechanical properties of reinforced concrete structures, research on the theory of structural failure under complex environments, and the safety monitoring and evaluation of engineering structures.
