Christophe Faugere is Professor of Finance and Economics at the Kedge Business School in Bordeaux France since 2011. He was head of the SEEFAR research center from 2019 to 2024 and Chair of the Finance Dept. Prior to that, he was an Assistant and then promoted as Associate Professor at the SUNY Albany School of Business from 1998 up until 2011. Christophe obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Rochester, NY in 1993. He also obtained his Masters in Mathematical Economics from the University of Toulouse in 1986. His main research work currently is in Happiness Finance, Mindful Finance, Stock Market/Treasuries/Gold Valuation, and the Epistemological Foundations of Choice Theory. He has published in top-tier finance journals and maintains a regular meditation and mindfulness practice.
