Zhiwen Zhao, PhD and postdoctoral fellow in communication and information systems at Beihang University, was a research fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and Singapore-MIT Alliance from 2003 to 2005. He is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Beijing Normal University; the director of the Key Laboratory of Network Security and Secure Communication, Beijing Normal University; the director of the Center for Intelligent Engineering and Education Applications, Beijing Normal University; the director of the Micro-Course Teaching Research Center, Beijing Normal University; and an adjunct professor at Beihang University. He also served as the dean of the School of Information Technology at Beijing Normal University Zhuhai and the director of the academic committee of the school. He is currently the Head of the Department of Data Science and Big Data Technology, School of Arts and Sciences, Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai.
