Christian Romero Martinez is a biomedical engineering undergraduate intern at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMex). Their academic interests include medical simulation, human–computer interaction, and health technologies for medical education. They are currently working on a project involving the design of a cardiac auscultation training mannequin.
Dr. Adrian is a Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, UAEMex. He holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in Science and Technology with a focus on Mechatronics from the Center for Engineering and Industrial Development (CIDESI). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Military Industrial Engineering and mechanical engineering specialty from the Military School of Engineers, University of the Mexican Army and Air Force. Dr. Adrian has been interested in new product development and research activities. In the field of research, his interest focuses on the mechatronics design process, design methodologies, robotic exoskeletons for rehabilitation and motion assistance, the design of mechanisms and machines, test benches, finite element method analysis, kinematics modeling and simulation, wheeled mobile robots, manufacturing technologies, and rapid prototyping.
