Rafiqul Islam is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Restorative Dentistry, Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan. He completed his PhD studies in Dentistry at Hokkaido University in 2021 and received his Master's Degree in Denology from Universi Sains Malaysia in 2017. His expertise is in the modification of dental biomaterials, pulp regeneration, and nanomaterials.
Dr. Monica Yamauti is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Restorative Dentistry, Graduate School of Dental Medicine, Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor in Biomedical and Applied Sciences at the Indiana University Indianapolis. In 2005, she received her Ph.D. Degree in Cariology and Operative Dentistry at Tokyo Medical and Dental University. She received her Master’s Degree in Operative Dentistry in 1997 at the Bauru School of Dentistry, University of Sao Paulo. Her main research interests are cariology, dental materials (adhesive materials and ceramics) and dental substrates.
