Author Biographies

Li Wen is a Senior Research Scientist at the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water, and has had an extensive career in wetland ecology, specializing in hydrology–ecology relationships, ecological modeling, vegetation dynamics, and community ecology. His main research interest is modeling the long-term impacts of water resource management strategies on the ecology of floodplain wetlands. He has a bachelor's degree in Forestry from the Central-South Forest University, China, a Master of Science in Agricultural Ecology from the Chinese Academy of Science, and a Ph.D. in applied ecology from the University of Adelaide, Australia, focusing on freshwater ecology.
