Dr. Syed Ashik Ali is a Research Assistant Professor at the School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science, The University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK, USA. He received a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the same university in 2016. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Bangladesh. His research interest includes rheological properties of asphalt binder, and rutting, fatigue, and moisture-induced damage of asphalt mixes.
Musharraf Zaman holds the Aaron Alexander Professorship and David Ross Professorship in Civil Engineering and Environmental Science and the Alumni Chair Professor in Petroleum and Geological Engineering at the University of Oklahoma, Norman. He serves as director of Southern Plains Transportation Center, a Regional University Transportation Center funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona in 1982. He is a fellow and life member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). His research interests include pavement materials and systems, laboratory and field testing, forensic investigations, geotechnical engineering, soil–structure interaction, and rock mechanics.
Dr. Zahid Hossain is a Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, AR, USA. He is also the Director of Graduate Programs in Engineering—MSCE, MSEE, and MSME. He earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy Civil Engineering at The University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK, USA in 1999. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). His research interests include energy conservation, recycling, nano- and bio-modifications, and intelligent system design of geotechnical and transportation materials for pavement applications.
