Author Biographies

R. Ramaprabha, Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering, Kalavakkam, has 24 years of teaching experience including 18 years of research experience. She obtained her PhD in the area of Solar Photovoltaic Systems from Anna University, Chennai. During her PhD, she developed the “Solar Energy Research Lab,” which is in the east wing of EEE Department (at SSN College of Engineering) with internal funding. She has published 120 research publications in international journals, 205 papers in the proceedings of refereed international and national conferences, 2 books, and 10 book chapters. She received the best teacher award for the academic years 2009–10, 2010–11, 2014–15, 2016–17, 2020–21 and 2022-23. She also received the CTS best faculty award for the academic year 2016–17. She received the “IET CLN Sir C. V. Raman Research Award 2014” at the IET Chennai Network Achievements Awards 2014 function by IET. She guided seven PhD students and is currently guiding six PhD students. She is a reviewer for several referred international journals. She completed an internally funded project worth about ₹13 lakhs and DST-WoS, a project worth about ₹21 lakhs. She is a review board member for many reputed international journals. She is an active senior member in IEEE and life member in ISTE.
Sangeetha S has applied for a full time research scholar in the Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering and she is a motivated and detail-oriented electrical engineer with a strong academic background and a focus on power electronics and embedded systems. She holds a Master’s degree in Power Electronics and Drives from Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jeppiaar Engineering College, Chennai. With a solid foundation in IoT technologies, Arduino, MATLAB, and embedded system design, Sangeetha has completed projects involving microgrid demand-side management and industrial automation through IoT. Her technical competencies include programming in C, working with simulation tools such as PSIM and MAGNET, and proficiency in operating systems like Windows XP through Windows 8. She brings a proactive attitude, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset to her work. She has participated in multiple workshops and conferences and is committed to continuous learning and professional development. Her strengths lie in her ability to learn quickly, lead with confidence, and thrive in dynamic environments.

She published one International Conference. She attended hands-on workshops and trained with MATLAB and hardware development. She graduated in the year of 2020. This paper is the outcome of the UG project work.
