Asfak Ali is the co-founder of Deep Duo Foundation, an organization committed to skill development. He is currently a Senior Research Fellow in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at Jadavpur University. Prior to this, Asfak worked as a Junior Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jadavpur University, under the Department of Science and Technology (DST) program. He also served as a Machine Learning Engineer at the National Informatics Centre (NIC). With expertise in computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, and IoT & embedded ML, Asfak has authored over 25 publications in international journals and conferences, and holds 15+ patents and Indian copyrights.
Dr Nonso Nnamoko is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for Software Engineering at Edge Hill University. His research lies at the intersection of computer science and social impact, with a focus on transparent and responsible methods for data analysis, language processing, and computer vision. He has led and contributed to projects involving fairness in AI, open-source software appraisal, and the use of digital technologies in healthcare. Recent work includes developing automated tools for consistent cognitive assessments, exploring weather-related degradation in computer vision systems, and creating inclusive evaluation frameworks for research environments. He is also experienced in cross-sector collaboration and are committed to producing research that supports evidence-based decision making in public policy.
