Dr. Paige Averett is a Professor of Social Work at NC State University. She earned her PhD in Human Development at Virgina Tech and her MSW from Washington University. Her work has mostly centered on issues related to LGBTQ+ populations and other oppressed populations. She is a qualitative methodologist who works on a variety of interdisciplinary and inter-institutional teams.
