Tommaso Toppi graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in 2005 with a Master's degree in Energy Engineering. He obtained his PhD from the same institution in 2011. Since then, he has worked as a researcher in the field of renewable and efficient heating and cooling and as a lecturer in undergraduate and graduate courses in thermodynamics, heat transfer and building physics. Since 2024 he has been Associate Professor at the Department of Energy of the Politecnico di Milano, where he coordinates projects on heat upgrading technologies for civil and industrial applications.
