Prof. Dr. Dongxu Yang received a B.Sc. in Atmospheric Science and Computing from the University of Science and Technology of China, in 2007, and a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Physics and Atmospheric Environment from the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2013. He is an Associate Researcher at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests mainly focus on satellite observation of atmospheric greenhouse gases and carbon emission monitoring.
Prof. Dr. Yi Liu received a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Department of Atmospheric Physics, Nanjing Institute of Meteorology, in 1985 and 1988, and a Ph.D. from the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 1996. He is the Director of the Carbon Neutrality Research Center, Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests mainly focus on the theoretical methods and applications of satellite remote sensing of greenhouse gases, pollutants, and atmospheric aerosols and the laws of near-space environmental changes and refined forecasts.
Prof. Dr. Junju Cao received a B.Sc. in geological exploration from Chang'an University, in 1994, an M.Sc. in mineral deposits from Chang'an University, in 1997, and a Ph.D. in Science from the Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2001. He was a visiting scholar at the Desert Research Institute, USA, from April 1999 to October 1999. He is currently the director and researcher of the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has been engaged in the research of atmospheric aerosols and atmospheric environment, revealing the basic characteristics, formation, evolution and climate, and the environmental effects of aerosols in the country, thoroughly investigating the sources, distribution, and causes of PM2.5 in the country, and carrying out atmospheric pollution control work.
