Sung-Yuk Kim was born in 1987 in the Republic of Korea. He received his bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering in 2013, his Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2016, and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2020, all from Kongju National University. From 2020 to 2022, he worked as a senior researcher at the Gyeongbuk Institute of IT Convergence Industry Technology. From 2022 to 2023, he served as a research professor at the Future Automotive Intelligent Electronics Core Technology Center at Kongju National University. Since 2024, he has been working at KB Autosys Co., Ltd. His research interests include automotive brake noise and vibration, and electronic brakes.
Seongjoo Lee was born in 1976 in the Republic of Korea. He earned a bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from Gyeongsang National University in 2002 and obtained a Master's degree in Ceramic Engineering in 2004. From 2004 to 2005, he worked at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in the UK, and in 2006, he started working at KB Autosys Co., Ltd. He is currently serving as the director in charge of friction material design. His research areas include friction material, automotive brake noise, and vibration.
ShinWook Kim was born in 1969 in the Republic of Korea. He received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Soonchunhyang University in 1993. He currently works as a director for a KB Autosys Co., Ltd. research institute. His research areas include friction material, automotive brake noise, and vibration.
Jaehyeon Nam is a Senior Researcher at the Mechanical Convergence System Center, Institute for Advanced Engineering, South Korea. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Inha University in 2021. Prior to his current position, he participated in several government-funded research projects related to automotive noise and vibration. His research interests include friction-induced vibration, structural dynamics, nonlinear system modeling, simulation-based optimization, and vibration analysis using artificial intelligence. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in these areas.
