Xianzhi Wang is an associate professor at the College of Grassland Agriculture and Technology, Lanzhou University. She is mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in grassland ecology. She graduated from the Department of Economics and Trade of Gansu Agricultural University in 2001, and she graduated from the Institute of Cold and Arid Regions Environment and
Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2004 with a master’s degree. From 2004 to 2007, she served as an assistant teacher at the College of Grassland Agriculture and Technology, Lanzhou University, and from 2007 to 2004, she served as a lecturer. From November 2024 to the present, she has served as an associate professor. She systematically undertakes the teaching, experiments, and field internships of “Grassland Cultivation” for undergraduates, and she cooperates in teaching and internships for “Grassland Management” and “Grassland Resources Survey and Planning”. She has presided over/participated
in several scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation project “Mechanism of Nutrient Supply and Nutrient Reabsorption Regulation in Irrigated Alfalfa/Spring Wheat Intercropping System” (2022–2025) and the National Key R&D Program “High-yield Cultivation and Efficient Utilization of High-quality Forage and Seeds” (2023–2026).
