Prof. Daniela Fogli received the Laurea degree in Computer Science from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 1994 and a Ph. D. degree in Information Engineering from the University of Brescia, Italy, in 1998. From 1998 to 2000, she was a post-doc grant holder at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, Institute for Systems, Informatics and Safety. From November 2000 to April 2015, she served as an Assistant Professor, and from May 2015 to November 2019, she held the position of Associate Professor at the University of Brescia, Department of Information Engineering. Since December 2019, she has been a Full Professor at the same university. Her research interests lie in the field of Human-Computer Interaction, encompassing methods for designing visual interactive systems, meta-design, end-user development, interaction design patterns, usability and accessibility of interactive systems, decision support systems, and systems that support computational thinking. She is an ACM member and since 2001 she has been a member of the SIGCHI Italy research community (the Italian Chapter of ACM SIGCHI-ACM's Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction).
