Author Biographies

Winston Silvestre has a graduate degree in business management, a postgraduate degree in industrial engineering with a specialization in quality management, and a Ph.D. in the environmental area of corporate sustainability. His professional activities have been developed along three vectors: academic, research, and business, on a nonexclusive basis at public and private organizations, focusing on management, integrated processes, and developmental tools for corporate integrative sustainable intelligence. He is presently an integrative researcher at DINAMIA`CET - ISCTE.
Sérgio Begnini is a professor at the University of Western Santa Catarina (UNOESC) in the city of Chapecó, Santa Catarina, Brazil. He holds a Ph.D. in administration and a master's degree in management and regional development. He teaches courses in quantitative research methods and multivariate analysis in the graduate program in administration at UNOESC, specifically in the research line of strategy and competitiveness. His research focuses on the fields of strategy, performance, absorptive capacity, sustainability, and innovation ecosystems, preferably with a quantitative approach.
Isabel Abreu is an assistant professor at University Fernando Pessoa. She completed her graduate studies in chemical engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto, and her Ph.D. in biotechnology, with a specialization in food science and engineering, was completed in the College of Biotechnology at Portuguese Catholic University. She works in the fields of engineering and technology, with an emphasis on environmental engineering, and in the field of natural sciences, with an emphasis on Earth and environmental sciences.
