Prof. Dr. Qiyao Yu is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Technology at the Harbin Institute of Technology; she was enrolled in the PhD program from 2014 to 2018. In addition, she also serves as an editorial board member for the journal Battery Materials and is an expert reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Her research interests include energy storage batteries; new energy materials; military special energy and multifunctional materials that can be controlled for preparation. So far, she has published more than 60 SCI papers in internationally renowned academic journals and served as the project leader for 10 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has authorized over 20 patents.

Prof. Dr. Jianguo Zhang is a professor at the School of Mechatronical Engineering at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). He obtained a Ph.D. degree in applied chemistry at the BIT and has been a faculty number at the BIT since 2000. His research interests include energetic materials and energy storage device. He has co-authored over 200 research papers and filed more than 50 patents.
