Dr. Vijay Chandra Verma is currently working as Agricultral Research Scientist-II at North Florida Research and Education Centre (NFREC), University of Florida, Quincy, Florida, USA. He obtained his PhD from the Centre of Advanced Study in Botany, Banaras Hindu University, India in 2009. Then, he became a DAAD Fellow at the INFU/Department of Chemistry, Technical University of Dortmund from 2010 to 2011, a Visiting Scientist in Entomology at the Texas A&M University: College Station, TX, USA from 2014 to 2016, and Scientific Consultant at the Division of BMI, Indian Council of Medical Research, India from 2016 to 2021. He is interested in exploring plant-associated microbiomes and the associated signal transduction in shaping plant-associated microbiomes.
