Author Biographies

Kornienko Vladimir Olegovich (born 12.09.1989) graduated from Donetsk National University in 2011 with a degree in biophysics and received a master's degree in biophysics, a teacher of biology and computer science. From 2011 to 2015, he completed full-time postgraduate studies in biophysics. From 2014-2023, he worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of Biophysics, and from 2023 as an associate professor at the Department of Physiology and Biophysics. Since 2023, he has been appointed head of the scientific research department of the university. He is the author of more than 10 textbooks and teaching aids in the following disciplines: "Biophysics", "Ecological Biophysics", "Modern problems of Biology", "Molecular Biophysics". He is the author of more than 150 scientific papers. The first publication was in 2007. He is the author of 4 patents for inventions, 2 databases, 1 computer program and 5 monographs. Six-time winner of the Young Scientist of the Year competition (2018-2022, 2024) in the nomination "Best Young Scientist of the Year" in the scientific field of Natural Sciences. In 2021, he became the winner of the University competition "The Best Student Supervisor of the Year". He directs students' graduation papers in the scientific fields of "industrial botany", "ecological biophysics", "vibrational ecology" and "biomechanics of living systems".
