Alina Ștefania Chenic is an Associate Professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, where she previously served as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Theoretical and Applied Economics. She holds a PhD in Economics and completed postdoctoral research focused on labor market flexicurity and sustainable development. She conducted international research stages at the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), University of Barcelona (Spain), and University of Reading (UK), and received Erasmus+ fellowships at leading European institutions. Her academic background includes degrees in Business Law, Finance, and Globalization. With over 19 years of experience in higher education, she has published more than 90 scientific papers in ISI and BDI-indexed journals and proceedings. She has coordinated or participated in over 12 national and international research projects related to AI, consumer trust, digital transformation, and environmental sustainability. Dr. Chenic is an ARACIS-certified evaluator, member of editorial boards, and first author of a previously published article in Sustainability, cited over 70 times in Q1 ISI journals.
