Dr. Thamir M. Alshammari is an associate professor in the Department of Clinical Practice, College of Pharmacy, Jazan University, Jazan, Saudi Arabia. He obtained his PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI, USA, in 2011. Dr. Alshammari also works as a consultant for the World Health Organization, where he contributes to the development and evaluation of global standards and initiatives on pharmacovigilance and drug safety. His expertise lies in pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, and real-world evidence to conduct and disseminate research that informs policy and practice on drug regulation, patient safety, and health outcomes.
