Author Biographies

Dr. Jamil Hamadneh is an assistant professor at the Department of Civil Engineering and Sustainable Structures, Palestine Technical University–Kadoorie, Tulakrem, Palestine. He completed his PhD studies in Roads and Transport Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics with honors. He worked previously at the Traffic Higher Council as a transport expert as well as several local and international companies. He has published more than 25 papers in various journals, and he is involved in several research works with teams from different countries. His teaching disciplines include transport engineering, the infrastructure of smart and sustainable cities, integrated concepts in suitability, traffic engineering, and road designs. His interests include autonomous vehicles, the activity chain optimization framework, sustainability, travel behavior, multitasking onboard transport modes, the impacts of new technologies on the mobility of people and land-use, and the social acceptability of future transport technologies.
