Cátia Andreia Vera Veríssimo de Sousa holds a PhD in Psychology from the Universidade do Algarve (2015), and a Master's degree in Labour Sciences–Labour Relations from the ISCTE—University Institute of Lisbon, obtained in 2010. She has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Faculdade de Ciências Humanas e Sociais, Universidade do Algarve, since 2015. Her research interests focus on organizational psychology and human resources, particularly in the areas of occupational health and safety, organizational behavior, work–family interface, safety training, safety behavior, and psychological well-being at work. She is an integrated member of the CUIP—University Research Centre in Psychology at the Universidade do Algarve.
Maria Jacinta Fernandes received a PhD in Environmental Sciences in 999, and a Master in Psychology in 2011, from the Universidade do Algarve. She has worked as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universidade do Algarve, since 1999. Her research topics mainly include the following: environmental psychology, landscape ecology, landscape perception, urban green space and well-being, restorative environments, environmental education, environmental behavior, and environmental attitudes.
Tiago Encarnação holds a Master's degree in Social, Work, and Organizational Psychology from the Universidade do Algarve, obtained in 2021. His research interests lie in the field of organizational psychology, with a particular focus on occupational health and safety, organizational behavior, psychosocial risks, and employee well-being.
Gabriela Maria Ramos Gonçalves holds a degree in Psychology, with a specialization in Social and Organizational Psychology, and a PhD in Psychology from the UCL—Université catholique de Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium). She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Algarve. Her research interests include social identity and intergroup relations, safety behavior, and psychological well-being at work. Gabriela Gonçalves passed away in January 2025, leaving a lasting legacy in the fields of organizational psychology and workplace well-being.
