Putthiphan Hirunyatrakul received his PhD in Global Prosperity from University College London in 2025. His previous experience includes serving as a post-graduate teaching assistant at UCL and working as a strategic partnership intern at Krungsri Finnovate, a leading venture capital firm in Thailand. He is currently a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Thailand Development Research Institute, where his research focuses on national AI strategy, AI governance, and AI for good, with a particular emphasis on the Global South context.
