Dr Viktoriia Ivannikova is an Assistant Professor in Aviation Management at Dublin City University Business School. She is also an External Examiner for MSc in Airport Planning and Management at Cranfield University in UK and an Executive Committee member of the UTSG (University Transport Study Group) and EACI (European Aviation Conference Institute). She completed her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on airport design and planning at National Aviation University of Ukraine and was awarded First Class for both. In 2011, she was awarded a PhD in Air Transportation Systems by the National Aviation University of Ukraine. Viktoriia's current research interests primarily focus on sustainable airport design and operations, digital transformation in aviation, and the impact of geopolitics on aviation. Her research papers have been published in the prestigious peer-reviewed academic journals, e.g., Journal of Air Transport Management, Transport, andAviation. She regularly presents at high-profile academic and business conferences.
