Prof. Dr. Yaochi Zhao is an associate professor at the Department of Data Science and Big Data Technology, College of Cyberspace Security, Hainan University. She received an M.S. degree in pattern recognition and intelligent systems from Central South University in 2005 and a Ph.D. from Tianjin University. Prof. Dr. Yaochi Zhao has been engaged in scientific research in artificial intelligence and computer vision for more than 20 years. In recent years, she has mainly studied deep learning technology in artificial intelligence and its application in practical scenarios, especially the data and task imbalance problems faced by deep learning in practical applications. She is a review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a review and consulting expert for Hainan Province Science and Technology, and a review expert of multiple SCI/EI journals.
Prof. Dr. Zhuhua Hu is a professor at the School of Information and Communication Engineering, at Hainan University. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Jilin University in 2002 and 2005, respectively, and his doctorate from Hainan University in 2019. From July 2005 to March 2009, Prof. Dr. Zhuhua Hu worked at Ningbo Bird Research Institute, ZTE Nanjing Research Institute, and Shanghai Aoxun Information Technology Co., Ltd., for many years in system design and development of application modules, protocol stacks, and underlying drivers for feature phones and smartphones. He served as an engineer, senior engineer, and head of the software department. In April 2009, he began to serve as an assistant and lecturer at the School of Information Science and Technology, at Hainan University. He was promoted to associate professor in December 2014 and professor in January 2020. Prof. Dr. Zhuhua Hu's main research directions include artificial intelligence and precision measurement and control in industry applications. He has won the first and second prizes in Hainan Province Science and Technology Progress.
