Dr. Le Ngoc Danh is currently a lecturer in the Faculty of Economics and Industrial Management at Can Tho University of Technology. With over 15 years of experience in teaching and research in economics—particularly in the field of agricultural economics—he holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics and has actively participated in numerous international collaborative projects. He has contributed to key initiatives, including serving as a member of GIZ (Germany), supporting sustainable agricultural development, and SEARCA (Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture), promoting postgraduate research and training in agriculture. Dr. Danh has played an important role in consulting on cooperative development in the provinces of Kien Giang, Ca Mau, and Dong Thap, helping to enhance production efficiency and strengthen agricultural value chain linkages. He also serves on the National Startup Advisory Council for the Southern Region, where he supports agri-tech startups and collective economic models. My name is Dr. Chau Thi Da, and I am a senior researcher in the fields of aquaculture and agronomy at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I earned my Ph.D. from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. I am actively involved in several distinguished international academic networks spanning Sweden, the UK, Germany, Australia, Japan, the US, Thailand, and Singapore. Through these collaborations, I have participated in numerous international research projects focused on the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. My professional expertise includes the socio-economic management of aquaculture, ecosystem service management related to aquaculture and agriculture, aquaculture and aquatic resource management, integrated aquaculture and agricultural production systems, aquaculture nutrition and feeding, water environment and natural resource management in the aquaculture industry, aquaculture economics and management, in-depth understanding of the academic landscape of aquaculture in Vietnam, assessment of aquaculture value chains, and climate change adaptation in aquaculture systems. With extensive academic and research experience, I am committed to advancing sustainable aquaculture and agriculture practices, both in Vietnam and internationally.
