Kelly F Bost received her B.A., M.S., and Ph.D. from Auburn University. She is currently a Professor of Child Development at the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, University of Illinois. She also is a member of the International Society for the Study of Behavioral Development (ISSBD), International Network on Personal Relationships (INPR), and Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD). Her research interests include family influences on children's socioemotional development and physical health, pediatric obesity, peer groups and friendships, emotion and emotion regulation, and parent–child attachment relationships.
