Prof. Dr. Kyung Ah Lee is Executive Director of the CHA
Reproductive Medicine Division. She completed her PhD studies in Physiology at
the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a highly accomplished
biomedical scientist and educator with 30+ years of experience in reproductive
medicine, biomedical research, and academic leadership. She has published over
150 peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and conference proceedings and received
30 Prize Awards conferred by major international and national societies. Her skills
and expertise include Oocytes, RNA Interference, Embryos, Ovary, Reproductive
Biology, Assisted Reproductive Technology, Reproduction Biology, Implantation, Embryology,
and Oocyte Culture.
Prof. Dr. Byung-Ok Choi is a Neurologist and vice dean at
the School of Medicine, Sungkyunkwan University and Professor at the Samsung
Advanced Institute for Health Science and Technology. He has a broad background
in clinical, biological, and cell-based tissue engineering. He also is
developing new therapeutic small molecules using stem cell technology, genetic
editing and animal models. He also developed several types of transgenic animal
models to facilitate the evaluation of new drugs, and a new drug screening
platform for successful and productive research projects.
