Fahad T. Alotaibi is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology at the College of Medicine, Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU), and serves as the Director of the Health Sciences Research Center (HSRC) at IMSIU. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from King Saud University (2011), a Master of Science in Reproductive and Developmental Sciences from the University of British Columbia (2016), and a PhD in the same field from the same institution (2020). Dr. Alotaibi has extensive experience as a Medical Technologist at King Fahad Medical City and has held various academic leadership roles, including Head of the Postgraduate Studies at IMSIU. His research interests focus on endometriosis and reproductive health, particularly the roles of interleukin-1 beta and the plasminogen activator system. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles, contributing to the understanding of pain mechanisms in endometriosis. Dr. Alotaibi is a member of professional societies related to reproductive medicine and has received several awards for his contributions to research and education.
