Miguel Bello-Jiménez received a Ph.D.
degree in optics from the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and
Electronics (INAOE), Mexico, in 2010. Miguel Bello-Jiménez joined the
Departamento de Física Aplicada y Electromagnetismo at the University of
Valencia, Spain, from 2010 to 2012, where he was engaged in research on
acousto-optic effects and actively mode-locked fiber lasers. Currently, Miguel
Bello-Jiménez is a Profesor-Investigador at the Instituto de Investigación en
Comunicación Óptica (IICO) in the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí
(UASLP), Mexico. His current research interests include nonlinear effects,
fiber-optic devices, and fiber lasers.
