Bettina F. Piko is a behavioral scientist and full professor with the Department of Behavioral Sciences, University of Szeged, Hungary, and a supervisor for the Doctoral School of Education, being responsible for the program in health education. She holds an MD degree and specializes in public health. She also holds a doctor of science (DSc) degree in psychological science. Her current research interests include adolescent health and problem behaviors, risk and protective factors, addictions, eating behaviors, coping, and anxiety among youth.
Tamás L. Berki is a senior lecturer at the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education of the Hungarian
University of Sports Science. He has a degree in physical education and a PhD in educational sciences. His primary research interests include sport motivation and commitment, as well as their effects on health and psychological behavior.
Orsolya Kun is a medical doctor and research assistant with the Department of Behavioral Sciences, University of Szeged, Hungary. Her research interests include psychological aspects of regular physical activity, exercise addiction and disordered eating, body image, and lifestyle medicine, emphasizing the prevention of and protection against health risk behaviors.
David Mellor is an Emeritus Professor in the School of Psychology at Deakin University in Australia, and a retired clinical
psychologist. His current research areas include body image in childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood, as well as the management of mental health issues amongst elderly people.
