Prof. Liwei Wen is an associate professor and master’s supervisor at the College of Material Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He holds a master’s and a doctorate in mechanical engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology. He has been engaged in research on automatic forming processes and manufacturing technologies for advanced high-performance composite materials since 1999. He has presided over more than 20 research projects at the national, provincial, ministerial, and scientific research institutes. In recent years, he has published more than 50 papers on composite material forming technology and applied for and obtained authorization for more than 20 national patents. He won one first prize in National Defense Science and Technology Progress in 2009 (3/10) and one second prize in Provincial Science and Technology Progress in 2016 (2/12).
