Chaimaa Hakim is a PhD candidate in Environmental Sciences at the Faculty of Sciences of Oujda and the Institut Agro de Montpellier (INRAE Narbonne, France). She obtained her Master’s degree in Applied Environmental Sciences and a Bachelor's in Environmental Protection from the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of Settat, University Hassan I, Morocco. Her research centers on the treatment and valorization of waste and biomass into energy and high-value-added compounds, combining experience from both academic and industrial laboratories.
She previously served as a chemical research engineer at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, where she led innovative projects on sustainable waste management and environmental technologies.
Her teaching disciplines include waste valorization, environmental chemistry, and biochemistry. Her scientific expertise spans solid and liquid waste management, biomass transformation, and thermal and physico-chemical analyses.
