Prof. Fei Deng graduated from the School of Information Engineering of Chengdu University of Technology with a Master’s degree in 2004, received his Ph.D. degree in 2007, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Dongfang Geophysical Company from 2008 to 2010. Currently, he mainly teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in data structure, computer graphics, and image and pattern recognition. He is engaged in the research work of algorithm design, combinatorial optimization, deep learning, etc., and combines them with practical engineering applications. He has presided over a number of scientific research projects, which are related to 3D modeling and visualization, 3D GIS and remote sensing image recognition, virtual reality and augmented reality, intelligent detection of microseismicity, and development of industry applications.
