Dr. Yahia Rharrabti is a Professor at the Polydisciplinary Faculty of Taza, affiliated with Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University of Fez, Morocco. His research interests include plant physiology, agri-food quality, and plant breeding. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Plant Biology in 1994, a Master of Science in Plant Breeding in 1996, and a Ph.D. in Cereal Physiology and Quality in 2001.
Dr. Rharrabti has conducted extensive research on the ecophysiology and oil quality of olive trees, as well as the phenology, physiology, and pomological traits of almond and fig varieties. He has also investigated drought tolerance in durum wheat, with a particular focus on industrial and nutritional grain quality. His multidisciplinary expertise bridges fundamental plant science and applied agricultural innovation, particularly in Mediterranean and arid environments.
