Prof. Corneliu Florea is a professor and researcher at the Image Processing and Analysis Laboratory (LAPI) of the Applied Electronics and Information Technology Department, Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology Faculty (ETTI), University "Politehnica" of Bucuresti (UPB). He received an Engineering degree in Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology from University "Politehnica" Bucuresti in 2004 and a PhD degree in Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology from University "Politehnica" Bucuresti in 2009. His research interests include computer vision, machine learning, pattern recognition, image (signals) processing and analysis, and computational photography.
