Author Biographies

Lise Storli is a PhD Candidate at Queen Maud University College in Trondheim, Norway. Her PhD focuses on the movement patterns and motor behavior of children within immersive digital environments, specifically examining interactions in a virtual reality playground. With a strong foundation in physical education and sport science, she earned her master’s degree by exploring the developmental trajectories of para-athletes and their pathways to expert performance. Her current research integrates perspectives from developmental psychology, motor learning, and educational technology, with a particular emphasis on how extracurricular physical activities influence children's motor behavior in play settings.
Håvard Lorås is Professor in Sports Science and Physical Education, with a specialty field in Motor Behavior, affiliated with the Department of Teacher Education, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway. His current research focus is the role of a constraint-led approach towards assessment in physical education, ecological dynamics and the development/assessment of motor competence in children, nonlinear pedagogy in Physical Education Teacher Education, and the dynamics of discovery in motor learning, as well as the project Virtual Risk Management: Exploring effects of childhood risk experiences through innovative methods.
