Author Biographies

Ruixiang Kan received a B.S. degree from Tianjin University of Technology, Tianjin, China, in 2017, and an M.S. degree in computer technology from Guilin University of Technology, Guilin, China, in January 2021. He was an exchange student with Chung Hua University, Hsinchu, China, from September 2015 to July 2016. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Guilin, China. His research interests include human activity recognition, IoT, and machine learning.
Mei Wang received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Xidian University, Xi'an, China, in 1984, 1989, and 2003, respectively. She is currently a Ph.D. Tutor with Xidian University and the Guilin University of Electronic Technology. She was a Visiting Scholar with the University of Central Florida in 2006. She has published more than 80 research articles in correlative journals and conferences. Her research interests include localization awareness and co-location, sensor networks, energy efficiency optimization, and more.
Tian Luo received a B.S. degree from the Institute of Information Technology of GUET (Guilin University of Electronic Technology), Guilin, Guangxi Province, China, in 2022. He is currently a master's student at the School of Information and Communication, GUET, Guilin, Guangxi Province, China. His main research directions are computer vision, machine learning, Variation Mode Decomposition, and abnormal gait recognition.
Hongbing Qiu received a Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from Xidian University in 2004. From February 2012 to August 2012, he was a Visiting Scholar with University of Minnesota Twin Cities, MN, USA. He is currently a Ph.D. Tutor with Xidian University and the Guilin University of Electronic Technology. He is also the Director of the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Cognitive Radio and Information Processing and serves as a member of the Communication Theory and Signal Processing Committee of Communications Institute of China, the Broadband Wireless IP Standards Working Group, the Home Network Standards Working Group, and more. His research interests include mobile communication, ultra-wideband wireless communication, broadband communication networks, and communication signal processing.
