Barbara Steblaj graduated from Veterinary Faculty, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and is currently working as a senior clinician in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia at the Vetsuisse, Zurich, Switzerland. She is a diplomate of European college of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (DipECVAA).
