Dr. Fulvio Nisi graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Perugia, Perugia, Italy, in 2013, with a final grade of 110/110 and honors. He studied anesthesia, resuscitation, intensive care, and pain therapy (residency) at the University of Perugia and Perugia’s city hospital between 2014 and 2019. Clinical and research fellowship: St George’s Hospital, London, UK (Cardio-thoracic Intensive Care Unit); Regional Centre for Transplant Coordination of Umbria, Perugia, Italy; “Le Molinette” Hospital, Città della Salute e della Scienza, Turin, Italy (vascular surgery and renal transplant unit, liver transplant unit, post-transplant intensive care unit, and lung and heart transplant and intensive care unit). He completed a postgraduate specialization in anesthesia, resuscitation, intensive care, and pain therapy (CCT in anesthesia and intensive care), awarded with a final grade of 50/50 and honors. Since 2014, he has been a fellow at the intensive care and anesthetics department of Perugia City Hospital, Italy. He is currently employed (since 2020) as a consultant in anesthesia and intensive care at the Humanitas Research Hospital in Milan, Italy, involved in anesthetics, perioperative medicine, acute pain management, and emergency and intensive care. Research and academic Interests: airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, ultrasound in critical care, acute pain medicine, perioperative safety, medical Informatics and IT, forensic medicine, E-learning, and simulation.
