Dr. Shengping Li is currently a professor in the
Department of Pancreatobiliary Surgery at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center
(SYSUCC), Guangzhou, China. He specializes in the treatment of pancreatic and
biliary cancers and is a renowned surgical specialist in China. He obtained his
Doctoral degree in surgery from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in
1998 and was a postdoctoral research fellow in the Cancer Center at the
University of Michigan, USA in 2003. His work is mainly focused on multiple
disciplinary treatment of pancreatobiliary cancer and its effects on the tumor
immune microenvironment, specifically, tumorigenesis, and its development and
prognosis.
