Evangelos Ntousakis received his master’s degree in production and management engineering from the Technical University of Crete in 2021 and is currently pursuing a doctorate in engineering with a focus on automation systems. He worked as a researcher at the Technical University of Crete from 2023 to 2024. His research interests include intelligent and autonomous greenhouse systems, smart water distribution networks optimization, non-revenue water reduction, active leakage control, the Internet of Things (IoT), digital twins, hydraulic simulations, QGIS, and EPANET.
Dimitris Ipsakis is an assistant professor at the School of Production
Engineering and Management, Technical University of Crete. He received his
chemical engineering diploma and PhD from the Department of Chemical
Engineering/AUTH in 2005 and 2011, respectively. He also holds an MSc diploma
from the Department of Mathematics/AUTH (2013). In the course of his
career (2005-), he has published several articles in prestigious journals and
has participated in numerous International and National Scientific Conferences,
covering the areas of process modeling and control for energy, environmental,
and industrial systems. In addition, he is actively participating in European
and national research projects as an evaluator of research proposals.
