Author Biographies

Xi Chen is the deputy director of the Social Sciences Office, director of the Financial Innovation Research Center, professor, doctoral supervisor and Doctor of Economics at Nanchang University. He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in finance at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He concurrently serves as a director of the China Macroeconomic Society, a director of the China Rural Finance Society, a director of the China Regional Economics Society, a peer reviewer for the National Social Science Foundation, and a thesis review expert for the Ministry of Education's Degree Center. He/She has presided over 2 projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation of China, 1 general project funded by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and 8 major and general projects at the provincial and ministerial level. As a key member, he/she has participated in over 40 national and provincial and ministerial projects. Seven academic works and textbooks have been published. More than ten papers have been published in authoritative domestic and international journals such as "Management World" and "China Rural Economy". The research achievements have won the first, second and third prizes of the Outstanding Social Science Achievements of Jiangxi Province for many times.Main research directions: Financial innovation, rural revitalization, digital economy, social capital, monetary policy.
Guowan Hu is a master's student in regional economics at the School of Economics and Management of Nanchang University, under the guidance of Professor Chen Xi from the same school. His main research areas are rural finance and agricultural economy. As a key member, I participated in one key project of social sciences in Jiangxi Province, published one article in Jiangxi Daily, and received one instruction from a national leader.
Huwei Wen, the vice dean of the School of Economics and Management at Nanchang University, is a professor, doctoral supervisor, holds a Doctor of Economics degree, and is a Global Financial Risk Manager (FRM). He also serves as the deputy director of the China Central Economic and Social Development Research Center (concurrently). Published more than 100 papers In "International Trade Issues", "Scientific Research Management", "International Review of Financial Analysis", "Energy Journal", "Energy Economics", "Economic" More than 30 high-level papers have been published in journals such as "Modelling", and many of the papers are among the top 1% highly cited papers worldwide. He has published two academic monographs, presided over one National Social Science Foundation of China Youth Project, one key project and one general project of National Statistical Science, and four other provincial-level projects. The research directions include industrial investment and financing and financial risk management, industrial digital transformation and intelligent manufacturing management, as well as cross-border e-commerce and digital trade.
