Dr. Kevin E. Bassler is the John and Rebecca Moores Professor of Physics and Mathematics at the University of Houston. He received his B.S. degree in Physics from Ohio University and M.S., Ph.D. in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University. In 2014, Bassler was elected a Fellow of the American Physical Society. The focus of his research is to understand and identify the fundamental principles that govern the dynamics of complex systems.
