My name is Choosit Hongkulsup, Ph.D., and I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Science and Technology at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Thailand. I obtained my Ph.D. in Food and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Reading, United Kingdom. Before joining academia, I worked as a Production Supervisor at Nestle (Thai) Co., Ltd. and Ajinomoto Calpis Beverage Co., Ltd., where I gained valuable experience in the food industry. My research interests focus on food chemistry,
including the extraction and application of chitosan as a bioactive compound, as well as food processing innovations such as edible coatings and films for shelf-life extension. I have published several articles in international journals and presented my work at both national and international conferences. Currently, I am conducting research on the utilization of agricultural by-products and the development of functional food products.
